I am always looking for ideas and opportunities. My oldest daughter (11) is catching on to this, and has started giving me a hard time about talking to anyone at anytime. So just for kicks the other day when a telemarketer called (and she was standing right by me), I turned the table on the telemarketer, and started to sell THEM something, got their primary companies phone number and the right person to contact. That's always fun. But I digress...
Back to what's cool... Last March I almost deleted an email that I thought was junk, but a couple of lines caught my attention, and I decided I needed to check into a little more. Upon further review, it has turned out to be one of the most dramatic Disruptive Technology advancements to hit the consumer market in at least a decade.

Guardit has developed a sensor technology that alerts a base station or even your Cell Phone, when one of the sensors is triggered. They are called Smart Object Sensors (SOS), which can monitor for motion, vibration, sound, temperature, moisture, smoke, and many more.
You pick the sensor you need for a particular application, program it, and it's done. Say you program it for the pool gate, and tell the kids you don't want them swimming while you are gone. You will be immediately alerted on your cell phone when the pool gate is opened. What's more, you could even have a picture sent to your phone, with who is opening the gate. Then you have the pre-programmed opportunity to 1)Ignore 2)Call Home 3) call 911.
So you don't have a pool, what about a liquor cabinet, gun safe, doors, windows, cabinets?
The applications are endless for the home, business, industrial, etc. I recently heard a commercial for Lojack. At the end of the commercial, they said "Wouldn't it be great if you could Lojack everything?"
